Accessing your documents using Internet Explorer should be very similar therefore the following instructions apply to both browsers.

- Begin by clicking here. You should be presented with a dialog box asking you to enter your username and password. Enter your username and password (see: note 1)
- When entered correctly, you will be presented with a welcome page. Choose the "Select this icon to show your Home Directory" option.
- A new window will open containing your user document area. This can be used in a similar manor to managing files on a local computer.

Important Note : DO NOT edit a file directly via easylink. There is a strong chance that your work will be lost in the case of a disconnection. Instead, copy the file to your local computer, then edit locally. When complete, reconnect to easylink and copy it back into your school user area.

Note 1: your username and password are the same as used in school, but your username should be prefixed with "cathay\" (minus the quotes). For example, if your username is jbloggs you should enter cathay\jbloggs into the username field.
